Dear friends,Summer is great but winter is coming. As many of you know, we provide several thousand dollars for emergency fuel, food and utilities each year through the Dolly Fisher Fund. We just this minute prevented an electrical service disconnect for a single mother in Sedgwick, and we offer this kind of help for scores of households throughout the year.That is why I hope you can come hear the beautiful, high-powered folk and traditional music of our friends Willy and Brian Claflin this Saturday the 25th at 7:30 in our sanctuary (see map and directions to First Congo Church in Blue Hill below). They are donating every penny of proceeds to Dolly Fisher. Suggested donation is $15. If you can’t make it, please consider sending a donation instead to:First Congregational Church
