Members of our Sunday School learned about “The Woman at the Well”, this Sunday. The Sunday School members decorated water bottles with the message “Don’t keep it bottled up spread the word ” and gave members of the congregation the decorated water bottles after worship.
United Methodist District Lenten Service
The Ellsworth United Methodist Church is hosting the United Methodist District Lenten Service
Sunday March 12, 2017 3:00PM
The United Methodist Northern Maine District Spirituality Team will be providing a Contemplative Lenten Service March 12, 2017 at the Ellsworth United Methodist Church at 3:00PM. The service will be presented in the Taize style which favors a meditative, prayerful service. Part of that prayer time is spent singing short, repetitive refrains or ostinatos. The public is invited to attend and refreshments will be served.

Boiled dinner, deviled eggs, delicious pear and carrot salad and melt in your chocolate mint cookies
Then the games began
One group combined bible study with a game
Took a bit to figure out how to play the game
But soon they got it.
Trivial Pursuit Got several putting their thinking caps on!
Great fun with warm friends on a cold night!! Thanks to everyone who cooked and joined us for the evening!
