TRUSTEES TO EMBARK ON HUGE PROJECT
Beginning on September 20, 2014 the trustees and members of the congregation will begin work in the basement area of the church. Repairs to walls, floor and painting the floor and heat ducts are some of the projects planned. The committee asks for everyone’s understanding as the space in our basement will be “torn apart” a bit.
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE BUSINESS AFTER HOURS
The Ellsworth United Methodist Church is a member of the Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce. As a member we are all invited to attend any of their business after hours. At these events people get to meet and learn a bit about each other’s businesses and organizations. Members or our congregation are urged to attend these events to promote our Church and to help people at the event become more familiar with EUMC. Contact Suzanne Chaney if you are interested in attending.
November 14,2014 Business After Hours will be at Rocket Computer/Washing Baby Elephants
December 5,2014 Business After Hours will be at Union River Books and Toys/Karen’s Cafe

MANY THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED IN THIS PROJECT. THE PROOF BOOKLET LOOKS GREAT AND IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MADE POSSIBLE WITHOUT EVERYONE MAKING A HUGE EFFORT TO COME TO THE CHURCH TO HAVE YOUR PICTURES TAKEN. THE PROJECT WAS HEADED UP BY JOHN AND NANCY KOHL. HOW CAN WE ALL EVER THANK THEM FOR WORKING SO HARD TO MAKE EVERYONE’S APPOINTMENTS AND FOR HOURS OF WORK JOHN PUT IN TO THIS DIRECTORY. HIS GOAL WAS TO MAKE A BOOK WE WILL TREASURE FOR A LONG TIME AND HE DID JUST THAT.
