Thanksgiving Community Dinner
Thanksgiving Day November 27th.
12:00PM- 3:00PM at the Riverside Cafe
Main Street, Ellsworth. Anyone in the community who
would like to attend is welcome. The dinner is sponsored by the Emmaus Center and they have asked members of the EUMC congregation to donate pies and desserts for the event. Please contact Judy Bragg 667-9046 if you would be willing to donate a homemade pie or dessert.
Dessert items should be delivered on Wednesday November 26th in the afternoon to the Riverside Cafe or arrangements can be made to drop them at the Church and we will see that they are delivered for you.

Shoe Box Mission
The Sunday School is helping to assemble 12 Shoeboxes full of personal care items for men and women for the Emmaus Center. They still need 5 containers of lotion not highly scented and 3 more shoeboxes. If you can help please bring your donation to Church.

First Sunday in Advent
Immediately following worship Please plan to join us as we decorate the sanctuary for The Christmas Season. Pizza and Christmas cookies will be served for lunch.

Silent Auction November 23, 2014 until 12:30PM December 14th at the eumc
Three gift baskets will be available for silent auction bids. The baskets will be on display in the coffee room. All proceeds will go the “No More Malaria” Fund.
This is a great chance to do some christmas shopping for a very worthwhile cause.

GINGERBREAD HOUSE SALE
SUZANNE CHANEY, JUDY BRAGG, MONICA ALLEN AND ANNE HOPPER HAVE BEEN WORKING HARD TO CREATE GINGERBREAD HOUSE KITS TO BE SOLD ON SATURDAY DECEMBER 6, 2014. THE EUMC WILL HAVE A TABLE AT THE CITY HALL CRAFT FAIR. THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR A SPECIAL CHRISTMAS TREAT OR GIFT. THE KIT INCLUDES EVERYTHING-EVEN THE FROSTING. PRICE 25.00 EACH. PLEASE ORDER ONE OR MORE IF YOU WOULD LIKE OR STOP AT OUR TABLE AT THE CITY HALL ON DEC. 6TH FROM 9-2

Gifts for a needy family
Our Adopted family will be from Next Step this Year.
A tree will be at the back of the sanctuary beginning on Sunday November 30th. The tree will have suggested items needed for our adopted family for Christmas..
Please have your items NOT WRAPPED to the church by Sunday December 14th.

Everyone is invited to our Special Christmas Eve Celebration

A special time of gathering and fellowship will begin at 6:30PM. Sandwiches and desserts will be served in the coffee room.
